Friends With Benefits yay or nay
Is having a friend with benefits is this a valid statement? What are the benefits? is this really something that just sets you up for high hopes and just to end up in the friend zone permanently. Can this ruin a friendship? does it work? I believe this is possible to have with someone but I don’t think it’s a good idea. The benefits with friends are only temporary and eventually, someone wants more, the benefits are no longer benefiting them for the long run.
If you plan on getting into this type of situation you are not looking for anything serious both parties agree to be friends then this is an ideal situation. If you are a person looking for a spouse long term this option may not suit you. I only say this because you are looking for more so why settle? if you settle to just have a friend with benefits here and there you could possibly be wasting your time. This friend may never want a relationship or if they do it may not be with you. Is this a risk you want to take with your heart? Someone that has friends with benefits is not looking to settle down or they do not know fully want they want. If you think about this long and hard if someone really wants a relationship they would be in one. Do not get caught up thinking this is the first step toward a relationship with this friend because it is not.
On another note, anything is possible these days but don’t get your hopes up. Again if both parties are unsure if they want a relationship this is the only way it will work. What are your thoughts or experiences with having a friend with so-called benefits? did it work for you?
