OMG Did you say Vaginal Washes… Yes Hunty
I know.. I know.. our vaginas are self cleaning but the outer part is something that we can safely pamper and love on with a few beauty products and you don’t have to worry about using feminine washes or soaps that contains many chemicals. Here are some natural homemade washes that are safe and your vagina can benefit from using.
Rosewater and Lavender wash: Rosewater is full of antioxidants, helps to treat infections, and also helps to sooth skin irritation. Lavender oil provides a calming effect it soothes skin and reduces PMS related symptoms.
Recipe: 1 cup of distilled water
1/3 cup of rosewater
1/4 cup of witch hazel
6 Drops of lavender Oil
Shake in a bottle this will last for a couple of months store in room temperature. You can also find soaps that are made with rose water and or natural ingredients.
Yogurt and Honey Wash (Mask) : Plain yogurt is loaded with probiotics that reduce your chances of getting a yeast infection and mixed with honey reduces it by 88%. This will be a little thicker so its really more of a mask for your lady parts then a wash. let sit for 5 minutes and rinse. To keep this mixture fresh place in your refrigerator.
Recipe:
1/3 cup of plain Yogurt
3 Teaspoons of raw honey
Baking Soda Wash:
This will keep your vagina at the PH level its supposed to be. It is naturally alkaline and balances your PH.
Recipe:
1/2 Cup of Distilled Water
1/2 Cup of Baking Soda
Shake well before use each time. This will last a few months keep in room temperature.
If you decide to use soap on your vagina make sure that it is a mild soap something as gentle that can be used on babies. if it safe for baby then its safe for your lady parts make sense right?
